Lezers van de Times Literary Supplement (UK) hebben een aardige gift ontvangen in de meest recente uitgave van het magazine - een audioboek met een selectie van gedichten door de Poolse Nobelprijs winnende dichter Czesław Miłosz gelezen door de Britse komische acteur Stephen Fry. Dit audioboek werd gepubliceerd in 7, 200 exemplaren.
De selectie van de gedichten werden gemaakt door de Poolse schrijver en vertaler Adam Zagajewski.
De Miłosz audioboeken worden gepubliceerd door het Adam Mickiewicz-instituut in het kader van het culturele programma van de Poolse voorzitterschap in de Raad van de Europese Unie en van de markering van de 100ste verjaardag van de geboorte van de dichter.
Tien taalversies zijn gepland, waarvan de Nederlanders een is ook klaar.

Peter Gentle 16.08.2011 11:23 Readers of the Times Literary Supplement (UK) have received a nice gift in the latest edition of the magazine - an audiobook with a selection of poems by the Polish Nobel Prize winning poet Czesław Miłosz read by the British comedic actor Stephen Fry. The audiobook was published in 7, 200 copies.
The selection of the poems was made by the Polish writer and translator Adam Zagajewski.
The Miłosz audiobooks are published by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute within the framework of the cultural programme of the Polish presidency in the Council of the European Union and of the events marking the 100th anniversary of the poet’s birth.
Ten language versions are planned, of which the Dutch one is also ready.
