Wroclaw: Nieuwe snelweg, stadion en Air Terminal

Minister-president Donald Tusk heeft de nieuwste investeringsprojecten in Wroclaw bezocht: de brug met de snelweg, het stadion gebouwd
voor Euro 2012, en de airterminal.
De premier zei dat de brug en de ringweg symbolen zijn van investeringsprojecten op grote schaal, ongekend in de geschiedenis.
"Over een paar dagen, zal de Wroclaw ringweg en één van de hoogste en mooiste bruggen van dit type in Europa beschikbaar zijn voor
Poolse weggebruikers" - benadrukte de minister-president. Hij legde uit dat auto's komende woensdag het nieuwe gedeelte kunnen gebruiken en geen tol wordt geïnd voor het gebruik van de ringweg.
"Dit, denk ik, is een zeer goede plek en een zeer goed moment om te zeggen dat Polen echt in aanbouw is in een adembenemende manier,
tenminste op sommige plaatsen" - zei de Minister-president.
Tijdens een bezoek aan de site van de bouw van het stadion voor Euro 2012, merkte de minister-president op dat de goede reputatie van
Wroclaw volledig is verdiend en het stadion top is op Europees niveau. Het hoofd van de regering, de Voorzitter van de Sejm Grzegorz Schetyna, voorzitter van Wroclaw Rafal Dutkiewicz en Neder-Silezië woiwode Aleksander Marek Skorupa speelde een korte wedstrijd
op het stadiongras.
De sectie van de autosnelweg-ringweg is 35.4 km lang. De weg omvat een van de grootste bruggen in Polen, bekend als de Redzinski brug.
De bouw van de sectie kost PLN 3,4 miljard. De bouw van de ringweg begon in 2008 en de afzonderlijke secties zijn achtereenvolgens succesvol in gebruik genomen.
De bouw van een terminal en parkeertransport is in aantocht op de luchthaven van Wrocław. De landingsbaan en taxiwegen zal worden ontwikkeld
tegen 2015. De kosten van de bouw zal PLN 471.6 miljoen bedragen.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk has visited the latest investment projects in Wroclaw: the bridge with the city’s motorway ring road, the stadium being built for Euro 2012 championship, and the air terminal.
The prime minister said that the bridge and the ring road are symbols of investment projects on a major scale, unknown in history.
"In a few days, Wroclaw ring road and one of the highest and most beautiful bridges of this type in
Europe will be available for Polish road users" - stressed the prime minister. He explained that cars will be able to enter the new section this coming Wednesday and no toll will be collected for using the ring road.
"This, I think, is a very good place and a very good moment to say that Poland is really under construction in a breathtaking way, at least in some places" - the prime minister said.
While visiting the construction site of the stadium for Euro 2012 championship, the prime minister remarked that
Wroclaw’s good reputation is fully merited and the stadium on top European level. The head of government, the Speaker of the Sejm Grzegorz Schetyna, President of
Wroclaw Rafal Dutkiewicz and Lower Silesia Voivode Aleksander Marek Skorupa played a short match on the stadium’s turf.
The section of motorway ring road is 35.4 km long. The road includes one of the biggest bridges in
Poland, known as the Redzinski Bridge. The construction of the section cost PLN 3.4 billion. The construction of the ring road started in 2008 and its individual sections were put to use
successively.
The construction of a terminal and parking apron is under way on the Wrocław Airport area. The airstrip and taxiways will be developed by 2015. The cost of the construction amounts to PLN 471.6 million.
